Anthem Press

Books, graphic novels, and worlds that begin on the page.

Who we publish

Original voices. Ambitious books.

Anthem Press is the publishing arm of Anthem Entertainment. We publish literary fiction, genre fiction, YA, graphic novels, and select non-fiction. Projects that share a vision with our film, television, and interactive work. Stories we’d want to read again. Worlds we want to bring to other screens.

Coming from Anthem Press

Wonder Comics

An original line of superheroes. In development.

Wonderman

Wonder Comics is the publishing line we are building inside Anthem Press. A shared universe of original superheroes, mythological pantheons, and street-level mysteries, designed to live in single issues, trades, and eventually screens.

We are not trying to imitate the Big Two. We are building the third option: a creator-respecting label with a unified continuity, modern serialized storytelling, and a slate of heroes we own outright. Captain Wonder. Dragonfly. The Brute. The Liberators. The Olympians of a remade pantheon. New names, but the same shelf-pull as the ones you grew up with.

The bible exists. The wiki exists. The first wave of heroes is sketched. What it needs now is a team and a runway.

A glimpse at the roster

Tentpole
Captain Wonder
The flagship. Modern hero, classical archetype. The face the line is built around.
Street level
Dragonfly
Ben Barton, a New York high schooler stung by something out of Genetico Labs. The everyman entry point.
Mythic
Hercules
The Olympian god of strength, reforged after the fall of old Olympus. The line’s bridge into a wider mythic universe.
Powerhouse
The Brute
Hank Haddock, a quantum physicist whose particle accelerator made him into something else. A tragic mass of fury and intellect.

How you can help us build it

01 · Funding
Seed financing for the first wave.
Production capital for a launch slate of single issues, plus operating runway for editorial, art direction, and trade collection. We are open to equity, advance-against-revenue, or single-title backers.
02 · Artists
Pencillers, inkers, colorists, cover artists.
If you’ve drawn a sequential page that made you proud, we want to see it. Open to industry veterans, emerging creators, and self-taught artists who have been waiting for a label to take them seriously.
03 · Writers
Series writers and ongoing runs.
Looking for writers who can hold a six-issue arc and want to leave a mark on a hero from issue one. Send a sample script, a pitch for an existing Wonder character, or both.

Interested in funding the line, drawing for it, or writing for it? Reach out with “Wonder Comics” in your subject line and the rest of your context in the body.

For authors

Have a book you want us to read?

We are reading literary fiction, genre fiction, YA, graphic novels, and select non-fiction. Send us a logline, a synopsis, and the first few thousand words. Submissions take 6 to 10 weeks for an initial response.

We’re a small editorial team. Please don’t follow up before the 10-week mark. We’re reading.
